Banyan Villa 1 will accommodate 8 people in 4 bedrooms.
Banyan Villa 2 will accommodate 6 people in 3 bedrooms.
Extra beds for children can be provided upon request.
Banyan Villas, built in the Balinese style of spacious accommodation, were completed in 2006. The two villas are almost mirror twins of each other, sharing in both size and general living arrangements.
Rather unusually eating and sleeping areas are situated on the ground floor of each villa, with daytime living spaces and balconies on the upper level where cooling breezes can more easily blow through.
Both Banyan Villas are identically furnished, combining elements of western and Asian style, providing high levels of comfort and practicality.
Ground floor
Dining
The Eurpoean style kitchen is fitted out with modern cooking appliances including oven and separate hotplates, microwave, coffee maker and fridge. A full complement of premium crockery and cutlery is also provided and the adjacent dining room features Chinese style teakwood furniture. Eight adults can eat in comfort while enjoying the view through patio doors that open onto the pool area.
Bedrooms
A hallway with powder room leads from the dining area towards the master bedroom which has its own patio doors also looking out across the swimming pool. Furniture in this room is made from bamboo and the king-size double bed is positioned on a raised plinth. Adjoining the master bedroom is an en-suite with double sink, shower and dressing areas, and an external Balinese-style bathroom featuring a screened-off bath and shower.
The second (king-size bed) a third (twin beds) bedrooms are similarly furnished in bamboo with the beds positioned on raised plinths, and each has an en-suite shower room.
Banyan Villa 1 has an additional bunk bedded room with a small en-suite bathroom, air-conditioning and is ideal for children but will accommodate adults too.
All main bedrooms have fitted wardrobes and come equipped with both air-conditioning and colonial-style ceiling fans.
Upper floor
Lounge, balcony & Sala
A wide staircase leads from the downstairs dining room to the spacious lounge area on the upper level of each villa. Furnished in a mixture of bamboo and Chinese style teakwood furniture, the lounge is also where you will find the bar, with a full stock of glasses and a second fridge to keep the beers suitably chilled. Entertainment facilities include a stereo system, widescreen television, DVD player and True Visions Gold satellite channels.
Patio doors open onto the balcony that looks down onto the pool area below, and leads along to the Sala, a great place to enjoy sea views while taking a sun-downer in the gentle evening breeze.
